Just Back From My Third Interview

...with Motherin' Huge Communications Company, and I think it went very well. They asked if I'd like to go onto the floor and listen in on some calls, and the employee they put me with says they don't do that unless they're pretty sure you're in. The last hurdle is a background check, but aside from lousy-ass credit, nothing much will pop. No record, not even the cliche parking ticket, so I should do fine.

The office is stunning. It's the company headquarters, built as a showpiece tower and finished only three years ago. State-of-the-art and ergonomic everything, open-plan, a view that gives any real estate type an instant woody, and about a ten minute walk from my front door.

So. I'm stoked. If everything goes as it should, I will start my training July 29th.

It's been rough, this marathon of job-hopping, but it's worth it. I know where I want to be, and a jive-ass kitchen ain't it.
